Technical snag cause Metro delays, cancellations during peak hour rush

Commuters who prefer Metro over local trains and road transport to escape peak hour rush and traffic had a harrowing time this morning. The Metro trains were running considerable late today, and some of the services had to be cancelled.

Some of the irate commuters took to social media to vent out their ire, as the trains running behind time for around 20-30 minutes.

Technical snag at Airport Road station was said to be the reason behind the delay and cancellation of trains. However, the Metro administration was quick enough to solve the problem. It took the team not more than an hour to ensure that Metro was back on tracks and that too on time.
