In a bizarre incident, police apprehended a biker for violating several traffic rules during a nakabandi in Mumbai’s Antop Hill area on Thursday.

The bike, a yellow Pulsar NS 200, did not carry a registration number and the rider failed to produce its registration papers or his own driving license. Unsurprisingly, he was also riding without a helmet.

Further, in place of the bike’s registration number, the owner had put up an abusive word on the number plate which caught the cop’s attention.

The police have seized the bike and are in the process of booking the owner/rider.

It is speculated that the rider is connected to a local politician.
