2 prisoners escape from Thane mental hospital

2. The prisoners, identified as Sukhram Jyotiram Bhilla (35) and Kashinath Pujara (38), were arrested in two separate murder cases.
3. The accused had been sent to Thane mental hospital to seek treatment as per the court’s directive.
4. The accused, who were housed in the hospital’s criminal ward, broke the window grills and gates and absconded from the confinement.
5. Thane police have registered a case against both under relevant sections of the IPC and are currently on the lookout for them.
