Actress Kritika Chaudhary found dead in her Andheri flat, murder suspected

Model and actress Kritika Choudhary was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in Andheri (West) on Monday. Police suspect it to be a case of murder.

The 30-year-old, hailing from Haridwar, resided at Bhairavnath SRA society near the Regional Transport Office (RTO) office at Four Bungalows, Andheri (West).

The incident came to light at around 3:45 pm when Kritika’s neighbours complained of foul smell emanating from her flat and informed police.

After getting the information, Amboli police rushed to the spot and broke open the door which was locked from outside for the last three-four days.

After entering her flat, police found a decomposed body of a woman, who was later identified as Kritika. The air-conditioner of the room was left on, because of which the body was found late.

Initially, Amboli police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR), an official said, adding that it came to fore during the investigation that Kritika was murdered by unidentified person(s). The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, cops have informed her family members and are recording the statements of her friends to ascertain if she had fought with anyone recently.

The actress was seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Parichay, which starred Sameer Soni and Keerti Nagpure in the lead. She was also a part of Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’.
