Massive fire breaks out in market near Dongri, 4 fire tenders on spot
A massive fire broke out in one of the shops located inside the market in Dongri on Wednesday evening. No casualties were reported.
The incident took place around 3:30 pm today evening.
According to preliminary information, the fire originated at a garment shop located inside Dongri Bazar on Nowroji Hill Road (Number 16) near Sandhurst Road Railway station in Dongri.
The fire department was quickly alerted about the incident, following which four fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Eye-witnesses said there was a few minutes delay due to heavy congestion in the area. Firefighters were still trying to douse the fire as of 4:30 pm.
As of writing this, no casualties have been reported. The cause of fire is also not known.
