Coaching class professor gifts his BMW to student

1. Young Tanmaya Shekhawat was on cloud nine after securing 11th rank in one of country’s most competitive exams- IIT JEE (Indian Institute of Technology’s Joint Entrance Exam).
2. While Tanmaya’s family and friends were agog over his achievement, what came as a cherry on top was a BMW Series-1 car gifted to him by the director of his coaching class.
3. Dr. RL Poonia, the director of Samarpan coaching institute in Rajasthan’s Sikar, had promised to gift his car to anyone who scores an all-India rank under 20 in the JEE mains. He had purchased the car for Rs 27.5 lakh two years ago.
4. Although the announcement was made with the intention of motivating students to perform well, hardly anyone believed that Dr. Poonia would actually part with his own car.
5. After receiving the car Tanmaya said, “I am very happy after receiving such lavish gifts from my teachers, however I never dreamt of it. I am thankful to my institute and all credit goes to them for my stunning performance.”
