Ileana D’Cruz slams fans who misbehaved with her in Mumbai
Actor Ileana D’Cruz has lashed out at some male fans who misbehaved with her while she was on her way to a fashion event in the city.
The female star, who is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Baadshaho’, took to Twitter to blast the culprits. In a series of tweets, the 29-year-old star said she may be a “public figure” but that does not give anyone the right to trouble her.
“It’s a pretty shitty world we live in. I’m a public figure. I understand that I don’t have the luxury of a private and an anonymous life.
“But that doesn’t give any man the right to misbehave with me. Don’t confuse ‘fan antics’ with that. I am a WOMAN at the end of the day.”

Ileana, in an interview to a leading daily, revealed that fans started banging against the window of her car when she was stuck in traffic while on her way to a fashion event in Mumbai recently.
“They started banging against the window, pressing themselves against the car, one of them even lying down on the top of the bonnet and laughing. I’ve been eve teased when I was younger, but I didn’t expect guys to misbehave to this level at this age,” she told Mumbai Mirror.
“They followed my car even after the signal turned green. It was like a power trip for them,” she added.
The actor, however, chose to ignore their antics as she was reportedly travelling with her chauffeur and without any bodyguards.
Earlier, actresses like Swara Bhaskar and Vidya Balan have also shared incidents where they were harassed by male fans.
