After Oreo, Cadbury launches Bournvita biscuits in India
In a bid to strengthen its position in the lucrative ‘cookies & biscuit’ market in India, Mondelez India Foods Pvt. Ltd has launched Cadbury Bournvita biscuits.
The launch comes five years after it first entered the segment with highly popular ‘Oreo’.
While addressing the media during the launch today, the company’s spokesperson said, “Cadbury Bournvita has been developed specially for the Indian market. Bournvita biscuits brings together the best of our global category expertise and innovation with our local insights and experience.”
He further added that the extension of its health drink brand, Bournvita, would help its heritage and legacy along with taste in the segment.
Priced at Rs. 10 and Rs. 25, Bournvita cookies are positioned as morning snacks and would be available on shelves from May.
