Video: Rishi, Randhir Kapoor assault journalists during Ganpati visarjan

In a new video that is now going viral on the internet, veteran actors Rishi and Randhir Kapoor are seen pushing and misbehaving with journalists during Ganpati visarjan.
While the exact time of the incident is not known, sources claim that it happened today evening when the Kapoor khandaan had come for immersing their Ganesh idol. Rishi’s son and actor Ranbir Kapoor was also present on the spot, but was not a part of the altercation.
In the video, Randhir can be seen slapping a media person followed by Rishi pushing a bystander who was trying to take a video recording. Towards the end, one of the two also push another media person, who can be seen falling on the ground.
The video has already gone viral on the internet and the Kapoor’s have become a trending topic on social media. While the media has taken strong opposition to the highhandedness towards journalists, some have come out in support of the family, claiming that the ‘media deserves it’.
While a section of the media has reported that Rishi was allegedly drunk at the time of incident, it has not been confirmed. Some have also stated that Ranbir pushed a person from the crowd, but there is no footage of the same.
Meanwhile, no one from the Kapoor family has issued a statement regarding the incident. Attempts to reach the Kapoor’s were also in vain.
