After being shamed on Twitter, Sonkar remained unapologetic. While talking to a leading daily, all he said was, “My action was unintentional and avoidable”
Even the IAS Association criticized Sonkar and called the incident “unacceptable”. Also, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh chastised the IAS officer saying, “He needs to learn. There are codes of conduct for IAS/IPS and other officers to be followed in the right earnest.”
