Diljit Dosanjh acts pricey, gets replaced by Emraan Hashmi in Milan Luthria’s next
After a successful stint in 2010 release ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai’, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi are all set to share screen space once again in ‘Baadshaho’.
Emraan Hashmi replaced Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh in the film after the latter opted out. According to a report in DNA, Diljit had quoted huge amount to be a part of the action drama. The actor also reportedly wants to focus on doing solo leads rather than multi-starrer films in Bollywood after ‘Udta Punjab’.
Baadshaho also stars Vidyut Jammval in the lead role and will be directed by Milan Luthria. Milan had also directed Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai.
The film revolves around stolen gold, a thief (Ajay Devgn), an undercover cop (Vidyut Jamawal), a character inspired by Maharani Gayatri Devi and an army officer (Emraan Hashmi).
Meanwhile, Ileana D’Cruz has been approached to play the lead opposite Hashmi.
