Mumbai Fire Brigade ropes in Randeep Hooda as their brand ambassador

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is on cloud nine after receiving rave reviews from audiences and critics alike for his portrayal of Charles Shobraj in ‘Main Aur Charles’. After having proven his mettle with character driven roles, audiences can’t wait to him in his next – ‘Sarabjit’ and ‘Laal Rang’.

But the actor isn’t just doing well on the professional front. His ability to positively influence the younger generation has caught the eye of Mumbai’s Fire Department who approached the actor to sign him as their brand ambassador. Needless to say, the actor was ecstatic to receive the offer and agreed.

Hooda later said that he recognizes both the difficulty and importance of the fire marshal’s job. His primary role as the ambassador will involve spreading awareness about their work and get more volunteers to sign up. The fire department is confident that by roping in Hooda, they will see a tenfold increase in the number of volunteers.

After he was presented with the fire marshal’s uniform, the actor said that it was one of the most proud moments of his life. He then took to Twitter to share the news of his association (and the picture) with his fans.

Hooda will begin work on the department’s first campaign on April 14.
