Pratyusha Suicide: CINTAA may ban Rakhi, Dolly for ‘stooping too low’
The alleged undying love for cheap publicity may now land actress Dolly Bindra and “drama queen” Rakhi Sawant into some trouble.
The Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) will reportedly send a show cause notice to Rakhi and Dolly following their attempt to hog some limelight by using Balika Vadhu actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s death.
Their behaviour has infuriated almost everyone who follows Indian television, including CINTAA’s Chairperson of Dispute Committee Amit Behl. Speaking to a city daily, Behl has said that a notice will be sent to them soon.
“People can’t stoop so low and hog the limelight when the matter is as sensitive as this. I will raise the issue at our Annual General Meeting on May 1 and propose a ban on them,” he added.
Infamous as somebody who doesn’t miss any opportunity that can get her some publicity, Dolly has clicked pictures of Pratyusha’s body and claimed that she saw sindoor on her head in the hospital.
What’s more, she even called the late actress’s mother to confirm the news of her death, recorded the conversation and then shared it with the media.
An FIR too has been lodged against Dolly at Versova police station for doing so with the sole intention of seeking some free publicity.
Likewise, Rakhi held a press conference outside Andheri police station and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ban ceiling fans as they would, according to her great thinking, reduce the number of suicides.
