Shah Rukh Khan confirms the release date of Raees

1. SRK’s fans were left disappointed after the makers decided to postpone the release date of the highly-anticipated Raees.
2. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer crime drama was earlier scheduled to hit the big screen on the same day as Salman starrer ‘Sultan’ on Eid.
3. Keen on avoiding the clash, the ‘Dilwale’ star and producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have now decided to release ‘Raees’ on January 26, 2017.
4. In a joint statement, the trio said, “We already know, this year is packed with a lot of releases by a lot of A-Listers so the movie-goers are in for a treat. However, learning that SRK’s film directed by is going to be a cinematic bliss as well, it would be unfair for the film to clash with others this year. So, we have decided to shift our release date to 26th January 2017.”
5. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani beauty Mahira Khan in pivotal roles.
