Teenage mother wraps newborn in plastic bag, dumps it on Marine Drive

A 17-year-old girl from Marine Drive gave birth to baby boy yesterday and dumped the newborn on the streets after neatly wrapping it up in a plastic bag.
Hearing the cries of the three-hour-old baby, a passerby opened the bag and was shocked to see a live baby inside.
The locals informed the police, and upon enquiry the cops found out that a girl who worked as maid in one of the houses in a nearby building had delivered the baby and threw the infant within hours it was born.
The baby was taken to Cama Hospital where it is undergoing treatment is reportedly doing fine.
