AC local to start plying from December 25
The long wait for the city’s first AC local will come to an end on December 25 when Western Railway will operate the first passenger service between Andheri to Churchgate.
The news was confirmed by WR divisional manager (Mumbai Central Division), Mukul Jain. The inaugural service will run from Andheri to Churchgate at 2:10 pm on Christmas.
The service will operate on a trial basis between Borivali and Churchgate till December 29. Regular services till Virar will start from January 1, 2018.
