Update on Pratiksha Nagar blaze: Fire brought under control, no casualties

The fire that broke out in a residential building in Pratiksha Nagar earlier today has been doused by officials from the fire department.

 

The blaze originated at the fourth floor of a ground plus seven-storey L-8 building around 5:45 pm today. The MHADA building is located at Pratiksha Nagar in Sion Koliwada, Sion.

 

A total of four fire engines and water tankers were pressed into service and the fire was brought under control at 6:18 pm. No casualties were reported in the mishap. The cause of fire is not known as of now.

 

This was the second fire related incident in the city today.
