Dumper rams into local train at Navi Mumbai

Around 1 pm on Thursday, a dumper crashed into a local train between Khandeshwar and Panvel railway stations.
The Harbour line services were disrupted for a few minutes after the incident while railway workers and onlookers tried to remove the dumper from the train’s path.
The dumper was reportedly being used at a work site right next to the railway lines.
As of now, no casualties have been reported and authorities are still trying to ascertain how the driver managed to ram into the train in broad daylight.
Update: Harbour line services from CST-Panvel were restored around 2 pm.
