First AC local train to reach Mumbai by tomorrow morning
Rakes of the first air-conditioned local train for Mumbai, which was flagged off from Integral Coach Factory in Chennai on March 31, will reach Mumbai tomorrow morning.
As soon as the rakes reach Mumbai, they will be taken into Kurla car shed for its first round of servicing after which, in a week’s time, it will be put up for trials.
The rake will be tested on the Thane-Vashi-Panvel Trans Harbour route.
The coaches were somewhere in between Bhusawal and Manmad as of 5 pm today.
