The Malabar Hill police have arrested a 22-year-old for allegedly robbing several houses in South Mumbai.
The accused, identified as Chetan Thulkar was arrested by the police in connection with a robbery in a businessman’s house in December.
According to police, He was working in a Parel based firm a few years ago and was in desperate need of money then. He claims that when he asked his boss for money, he refused.
Since then, he says, he has hated rich people and robs them to teach them a lesson.
Thulkar has a unique way of breaking into sliding windows which cops haven’t been able to understand yet.
According to police, Thulkar would live lavishly when at his hometown in Nagpur, but when he was in the city he would pretend to be a beggar.Back to latest news
