Sexual abuse complaint filed against 2 school teachers at Vakola police station

On Friday, a complaint was filed at Vakola police station against two staff teachers of a government school for repeatedly assaulting and sexually abusing students.
The complaint application states that the two teachers have allegedly abused kids right from class I to class X.
According to an official attached with Vakola police station, the police are currently waiting to record the statements of the parents. Based on which, they will began investigation and take necessary action.
Ritu Tawade, former education committee chairman, filed the complaint on behalf of the students.
According to a leading daily, multiple girls, who were questioned about the teachers, have corroborated the complaint. The arrests will be made after the police investigation has concluded.
Last week, a professor with a reputed college in Vile Parle was arrested after a student accused him of molesting her under the pretence of signing her sheet. The student had come to the college for an exam, which she left midway.
