Amitabh, Kangana, Bahubali receive National Awards
The 63rd Annual National Awards ceremony was held at the nation’s capital on Tuesday.
This year, the prestigious award was conferred upon Amitabh Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to name a few.
Other than the National Awards, the legendary Manoj Kumar was also awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke award. The thespian, who started his career in the late 1950’s, is renowned for his patriotic roles in movies like ‘Purab Aur Paschim’, ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’ etc.
President Pranab Mukherjee was the one to present the awards to the winners.
