Pandey replaces Yuvraj in India’s squad for ICC WT20 matches
India’s left-handed batsman, Yuvraj Singh, has been ruled out of the ongoing World T20 tournament after twisting his ankle while batting in a T20 match against Australia in Mohali.
The ICC confirmed that Manish Pandey has been approved as a replacement player for Yuvraj Singh in India’s squad for the tournament. Pandey has so far played two T20 International matches, both of which were against Zimbabwe in 2015.
Pandey will be seen playing in as a middle-order batsman against West Indies in the second semi-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai tomorrow.
