Mumbai police on Friday announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh to those who provide information about the owners of ‘1Above’ pub in the Kamala Mills compound. The officials also put up wanted posters outside their residential building in Mazgaon.

The pub owners, Kripesh Mansukhlal Sanghvi, Jigar Sanghvi and Abhijeet Mankar, have been absconding ever since a fire claimed 14 lives and injured over 30 others on December 29 in Kamala Mills.

Following the incident, all three were booked by N M Joshi Marg police station for culpable homicide not amounting to murder under sections 304, 337, 338, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The trio had earlier written to PM Narendra Modi alleging that the fire started at Mojo’s Bistro and requested a CBI probe into the incident. Their allegations proved true yesterday after the fire department report corroborated their claims.
