Two injured in roof collapse at Bandra

Two persons, including a nine-year-old boy, were injured after a portion of the roof of their house collapsed in Bandra’s Bharat Nagar area during the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to reports, construction work was underway at the transit camp in the area, which caused a portion of the house’s roof to collapse.

The collapsed slab fell on two persons, a 9-year-old boy and a 21-year-old girl. Both sustained injuries and were subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Details about their present condition, and possible police action, are awaited.
