Whatsapp won’t be limited to phones, company is developing a desktop application

1. Whatsapp users with heavy usage who find it laborious to use the messaging application on mobile phones have been looking for ways to use the application on their computers.
2. While, the company did provide Whatsapp Web as a way to use the text messaging platform on computers, it proved to be arduous for users. The feature required phones to be connected on the internet and the browser to be open all the time when using Whatsapp Web.
3. Now, the company is developing full-fledged desktop application for Windows and Mac operating systems. A Twitter user following the Facebook-owned web client has posted images of this application in its development stages.
4. This new application will make it easier for users to share documents and voice calls without having to connect your phone to the internet.
5. Although the release date of the desktop application is unknown, Whatsapp will soon launch voice mail feature and will enable users to share zip files through the application
