Members of British pop rock band ‘The Vamps’ arrived in Mumbai on Monday after wrapping up the London shoot for their video with music composers Vishal-Shekhar.

The band, whose members include Brad Simpson (lead vocals and guitar), James McVey (lead guitar and vocals), Connor Ball (bass guitar and vocals) and Tristan Evans (drums and vocals), recently shot for the video of the song ‘Beliya’, for which they collaborated with the composer duo.

While the band hasn’t disclosed the itinerary of their Mumbai visit, it is speculated that they are in the city to collaborate with Ajay Devgn’s team for his upcoming directorial ‘Shivaay’. The actor even took to Instagram to share a picture with the band and Shivaay’s music composer Mithoon.

Later, even Mithoon tweeted “Something interesting coming up soon”, further adding to the speculation.

While the band left for Delhi on Wednesday, they are scheduled to return and perform at Andheri’s Hard Rock Cafe with Vishal-Shekhar on Thursday night. The line up includes their new collaboration, Beliya.

Meanwhile, other celebrities like Boman Irani and Farhan Khan also met the band members during their Mumbai visit and posted photos on their respective micro-blogging accounts.

Back when the ‘The Vamps’ debut in 2012, they were compared to One Direction. However, the members disagreed with the stereotyping, claiming that they formed the band themselves instead of being a creation of a record label or producer and they play their own instruments. Their first single ‘Can We Dance’, debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart.
