Kapil invites India’s paralympians for a special episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’
Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma is set to welcome country’s paralympians on his hit comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
The 35-year-old artist will interact with the heroes about their journey and engage them in some light conversation, a press release issued here said.
Kapil’s team will be seen celebrating these athletes participation, sportsmanship and success at the recently concluded Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, it said.
Para Champions like Devendra Jhajharia, Narender Ranbir, Deepa Malik, Dharambir, Suyash Jadhav, Rampal Chahar and many others are expected to be a part of the show.
The show, which airs on Sony, will give the viewers an opportunity to know the champions who made the nation proud and continue to do so, it said.
On a separate note, the comedy show, which launched in April this year, has managed to top the TRP charts this week. The show acquired the number one position in the Urban category.
Needless to say, the entire team is ecstatic. Creative director of the show Preeti Simoes and Sumona Chakravarti also tweeted about the achievement and thanked their fans for their continued love and support.
“Congratulations to the Team n immense gratitude for all the love n appreciation! Thank you to every single one of you,” Sumona tweeted.
The Kapil Sharma Show beat Ekta Kapoor’s Brahmarakshas to claim the top spot. Brahmarakshas had been dominating the TRP charts for the last few weeks.
The show stars Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Ali Asgar, Sumona Chakravarti, Rochelle Rao and Chandan Prabhakar.
