1. Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli-led All Heart Football Club (representing ‘The Virat Kohli Foundation’) and Abhishek Bachchan’s All Stars Football Club (representing ‘Playing for Humanity’) joined hands for a charity soccer match ‘Celebrity Clasico 2016’ on Saturday.
2. The match, which took pace at Mumbai Football Arena of Andheri Sports Complex, was organized in a bid to raise funds for the respective charitable initiatives the cricketer and actor are involved with.
3. Virat’s team included the nation’s top cricketers like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane and R. Ashwin.
4. Abhishek did not participate in the match as a player, but continued to guide and motivate his players. His team was led by Ranbir Kapoor and included Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur etc.
5. The match ended in a draw with both teams scoring 2 goals each. The star-studded match had Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Harbhajan Singh, Aditya Thackeray, Shilpa Shetty and Zaheer Khan in attendance.
