Salman unveils his version of ‘Jag Ghoomeya’

1. Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sultan’, where the superstar essays the role of a wrestler, is among the most highly anticipated movies of the year.

2. The film’s track ‘Jag Ghoomeya’, however, has been in the news for a whole different reason. The song was apparently sung by Arijit Singh, but Salman reportedly got his version dropped from the film owing to differences between the two.

3. Later the makers approached musical legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to record the song. The Pakistani singer’s version was the one that made the final cut and was unveiled two days back.

4. Composed by Vishal and Shekhar and penned by Irshad Kamil, ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ is about Salman’s character Sultan expressing his love for Anushka Sharma’s character Aarfa. The song has already received rave reviews and crossed over 10 lakh views on YouTube.

5. Today, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor surprised his fans by sharing his version of the song on his micro-blogging account. He captioned the video, “Ek baar maine commitment kar di Toh… So suno jag…. in my voice”.
