On Saturday afternoon, a three storey building collapsed in Mumbai’s Kamathipura area.
The building, located at 14th lane, Kamathipura collapsed around 2:15 pm after a ground floor wall gave in. So far, three confirmed deaths have been reported.

Fire officials have managed to rescue over a dozen people. But, more are believed to be trapped in the debris.

Out of the ones who were rescued, nine have been rushed to the hospital. Three of them are in a critical condition. A BMC official confirmed that seven people have been admitted to JJ Hospital and two have been admitted to Nair Hospital.

Five fire engines are on the stop and rescue operations are currently underway under the supervision of DCP S Jaykumar.
