1. 23-year-old Karishma Mane was allegedly stabbed to death by an unknown person at Annabhau Sathe bridge, Kurla (East) on Tuesday morning.
2. The incident happened at around 10 am when Mane was on her way to the Kurla station to catch a train for Dadar, where she works in a factory.
3. The accused stabbed Mane from behind and fled the spot. Following which, passersby rushed her to Surana Sethia hospital where she was declared dead at around 11 am.
4. The deceased is a resident of Suman Nagar in Chembur and is survived by her younger sister and father.
5. Meanwhile, the Nehru Nagar police have registered a FIR against the unknown person under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC and a team has been formed to nab the accused.
