Bandra RPF offers to beat pervert who showed porn to teens, asks girls not to file complaint
In a bizarre incident, Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Thursday offered to beat the pervert who showed pornographic clips to two teenage girls at Bandra station, but advised them against filing a complaint for the sake of their ‘careers’.
According to a Mid-Day report, the engineering students, Akansha Nayak (19) and Praditi Raut (19), were waiting at Bandra station to take the train back home around 3 pm yesterday.
A 40-year-old advertising professional was sitting besides them and watching pornograhic pictures on his phone. The accused, identified as F Bari, later tilted his phone towards the teenagers to show them the picture.
A male commuter sitting on the other side noticed his antics and started thrashing him for his indecent action. Seeing him, others joined in and gave Bari a public thrashing.
RPF reportedly arrived at the spot after 15 minutes after the beating had started. When they enquired about the incident, Bari said he lost his phone in the commotion.
When the girls approached Bandra RPF to file a complaint against Bari, they refuse to accept it citing lack of evidence.
What’s more, they tried to persuade them from filing a complaint claiming it would require them to be present during court proceedings, which could affect their careers.
The cops, however, offered to teach Bari a lesson for his act and fined him Rs 1,200. Later, a formal complaint was also registered.
While speaking to the daily, Akansha claimed that Bari had tried to show them the pictures thrice, while the accused said that he was only checking out some stuff that was sent to him by his friend.
