Twitterati take on Hema Malini for calling Pratyusha a ‘loser’

Dream girl Hema Malini’s attempt of giving some gyaan completely backfired this afternoon.

The actress-politician took to Twitter to share her views on suicide, and while doing so, she went a tad bit overboard. Tweeting in context of the media coverage given to the suicide of late television actress Pratyusha Banerjee, she indirectly ended up calling up the Balika Vadhu as “loser” and her suicide “senseless”.

In a series of Tweets, the actress said, “All these senseless suicides which achieve nothg! Life is God’s gift for us to live not for us to take at will. We have no right to do that.”

What’s more? While giving the gyaan that one must learn to overcome all odds and emerge successful, and that one should not succumb under pressure and give up easily, she ended up saying, “The world admires a fighter not a loser.”

Taking on media over the coverage of the TV star’s demise, she tweeted, “Just becomes food for the hungry media who chew on news like celebrity suicides until the next sensational news happens. Thn it is forgotten.”

However, her tweets didn’t go well with the twitterati who slammed Hema Malini and how.

A user commented on her tweets, “This is utterly insensitive, suicide may not be a solution but ranting about a deceased certainly doesn’t make you look great,” while another user tweeted, “You just lost all my respect. It is because of stoic elders like you, young minds in the country have mental health issues.”

While one of the users reminded her of the accident, involving her car, in which a little girl had lost her life, “Life is God’s Gift” didn’t seem ur attitude during ur accident last year wr a little girl died & u shamelessly drove away.”

Some of the people completely lost seeing her tweets and responded, “Who is more senseless-you or suicides?”
