1. The newly introduced Home Care At Home (HCAH) facility, being marketed as a hospital without boundaries, will provide treatment to the Mumbai-based patients in the comfort of their homes.
2. The service is a joint venture between Burman family and HCAH, UK and aims to provide home-based care at about half the cost of an hospital’s treatment. It is already available in other Indian cities like Kolkata, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Jaipur.
3. “We provide all kinds of medical services like home-based cardiac care, cancer treatment, post surgical care, blood transfusions and also physiotherapy. Right from basic injection to intensive care units and cardiac care, HCAH serves all,” said Vivek Shrivastava, the Chief Executive Officer of HCAH.
4. Patients are given the highest quality of clinical care, wherein best professionals from the field are hired to take care of them. “We hire doctors and nurses who have a high level of experience in their respective fields, and in fact every unit of theirs works like a hospital. We also use high-end technology when providing home-based care to the patients and can even track the people through GPS,” revealed Shrivastava.
5. The biggest advantage of home-based treatment is that the patients will not be exposed to any kind of infections, a risk that is prevalent while taking admission in a hospital or healthcare centre. After Mumbai, the company has plans of expanding the service to other Tier I and II cities from the country.
