No more kissing, intimate scenes for Sunny Leone
Actress Sunny Leone has come a long way in her Bollywood career ever since she made her debut in 2012 with Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2.
Over the years, both fans and directors have come to expect a certain sensuality from any film the actress stars in. But, speculation is rife that Sunny wants to get rid of her ‘sexy image’ and focus on more character driven roles in Bollywood. It was also one of the reasons that enticed the former pornstar to leave her successful career behind and take up acting full time.
A testament to her resolve was Sunny’s decision to refrain from kissing on-screen in her latest film ‘Beimaan Love’. According to reports, the script of the film demanded that the actress kiss co-star Rajniesh Duggal multiple times, but she put her foot down.
A source close to the development told DNA, “Sunny has been gradually and gracefully working towards a completely erotica-free image. It started a year ago when in Leela, she refused love-making scenes with her co-star Mohit Ahlawat and insisted that her husband Daniel Weber be brought in as a body-double for Ahlawat. Sunny is far more comfortable with Rajniesh Duggal and has done intimate scenes with him in the past. But in Beimaan Love, she insisted on doing away with kissing scenes altogether.”
Sunny has acted in almost a dozen films since her debut, but is yet to win any accolades for her acting. But, with three more releases in the pipeline, that can change any day.
