Schools, colleges likely to remain open, Mumbai University exams to proceed as planned
Despite the call for a state-wide bandh tomorrow, schools and colleges in Mumbai are likely to remain open as Maharashtra Education Minister Vinod Tawde is yet to declare an official holiday on Wednesday as of 10 pm.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of School Education has said that it will be up to the parents to send their kids to school tomorrow as School Bus Owners Association (SBOA) will not be operating buses in the morning.
Additionally, 13 Mumbai University Exams are scheduled for tomorrow. The Univerisity too has not made any announcement pertaining to the postponement, implying that the exams will take place as per schedule.
Hundreds of students and parents have tried to reach out to the Education Minister since evening for a confirmation but in vain.
