1. On Thursday, a policemen was caught red-handed while accepting a ‘printer’ as bribe from a man by Mumbai’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
2. In 2010, an FIR was registered against the complainant Nitin Suryavanshi at the Antop Hill station. The cop who was probing his case asked Suryavanshi to give him a HP inkjet printer costing around Rs 7000 to close the matter.
3. Suryavanshi, after purchasing the printer, approached the ACB and informed the officers about the corrupt cop.
4. Upon receiving the complaint, ACB laid a trap to catch the cop attached with Antop Hill Police station.
5. When the cop arrived at the spot to accept the printer, he was arrested and taken into custody by the ACB officers.
